The Bachelor in Finance and Accounting at Kozminski University in Warsaw is a three-year, full-time first-cycle (Bachelor's) programme taught in English. It is meant for students who want a career in corporate finance, financial markets or accounting.
You start with management, financial accounting and microeconomics, then move on to finance subjects and your major. Sustainability is built into the syllabi, and courses in generative AI for managers and agile digital product design show you how to use AI in business decisions. Industry partners such as BNP Paribas Securities Services, Crisil, RSM Poland and AstraZeneca Pharma Poland shape course content and run guest lectures.
Besides the Financial Management major included in every diploma, you choose one of three:
In the Bloomberg Finance Lab you work with the professional Bloomberg database and ChatGPT tools on financial markets, risk management and trading, and can earn the BMC and ESG certificates.
The curriculum includes a mandatory internship. Study visits to company headquarters and presentations on campus have recently brought students together with MDDP, RSM, Point72 and JP Morgan.
The fifth semester is a “mobility window” for exchange abroad, with no programme differences to make up afterwards.
In the third year you can join a double degree programme at ISEG Lisbon, Aston University or IESEG School of Management and graduate with diplomas from both Kozminski and the partner university.
Graduates work in banks, insurers, funds and brokerage firms, in the finance departments of international corporations and in the public sector – for example as controllers, accountants, auditors or sustainable finance analysts. You can also continue on the Master in Finance and Accounting at Kozminski.
