WSB Merito University in Lodz offers Management as a six-semester first-cycle (bachelor's) programme taught in English. It suits school-leavers who want to learn business, sales and project management in an international setting.
Across the six semesters you work on:
International business and Sales strategies and techniques are the specialisations named for this programme. Both build on what the course already combines: sales and strategy on one side, communication in international teams on the other.
Core subjects include Communication Skills in Business, a course on initiating and running your own business, a proseminar, a diploma seminar and a professional placement. Teaching relies on group projects built around real business problems, market simulations, case studies and lectures by practitioners. If you already work in a field matching your studies, the placement can be credited on the basis of that job, and a paid internship is also possible.
Graduates can work as sales specialists supporting sales teams with strategy, data analysis and client relations, as project coordinators leading business projects, or as managers of international teams who look after cross-cultural cooperation and communication.
Other routes lead to business analysis, where you collect and interpret data behind strategic decisions in international corporations, to business communication, where you build communication strategies for a company, and to management consulting, advising firms on optimising processes and introducing new management approaches.
Did you know? The bachelor's title is earned with a diploma project written in a team and defended before a committee.
